Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at 8:23PM A Carnival Wedding was how Mindy described her wedding day. With close family and guests coming from Peru and the USA, Mindy and Manuel had a beautiful Spanish wedding with a full Catholic Mass. As an extra treat the music for the mass was performed by a traditional South American band.
The music was so beautiful that for something different we decided to base this weeks wedding teaser around the last song of the mass which featured fabulous guitar and haunting pan flutes. (I know I go on about cheesy wedding videos with pan flute music but in this case it was entirely appropriate! And what's more we loved it)
The groom was clearly nervous as he waited at the door of the traditional church on the hill at Bowen Hills, Our Lady of Victories. The bride, as gorgeous as ever, waited patiently in the limosine as the procession started. Amazingly, the rain eased and the wind abated enough for congratulations and family photos outside the church.
We had a great time at this beautiful wedding. Congratulations Mindy & Manuel, we wish you all the very best.
